GATE 2023 is well known as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is an engineering level entrance exam to get admission in PG {Post Graduate} courses in India. Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur will conduct GATE 2023 in February 2022.
After cracking the gate exam, a student can join M.Tech./Ph.D. programmes in IITs,{Indian Institutes of Technology} IISc, IISERs and other reputed institutions in the field of engineering and technology. This GATE 2023 scorecard will remain valid for THREE years from the date of the announcement of results.

This year paper will be a Fully Computer Based Test (CBT) and there is a total of 29 subjects as two new subjects added this year Geomatics Engineering (GE) and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM).
About GATE EXAMINATION
GATE is a national examination jointly conducted by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) under the aegis of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. GATE examination is a Computer Based Test.
Qualifying in the GATE examination is required for admission to Postgraduate Programs (Master’s and Doctoral) with Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships/Assistantships, subject to fulfilling the admission criteria of the admitting institutes.
The GATE score is also used by some PSUs for their recruitment and by several other universities for their admission in India. GATE 2023 score will remain valid for THREE YEARS from the date of announcement of results.

Gate 2022 Application form
Registration for the gate already started from Monday, 30th August 2022 via online mode. The closing date of REGULAR Online Registration is Friday, 24th September 2022. with a late fee, the candidate can apply till Friday, 1st October 2022.
Since GATE is a national level of examination, which IIT Kharagpur (IITKGP) holds the responsibility to conduct in 2022, several candidates who want to seek admissions in Masters and P.hd courses in various Private and Government colleges across the country including IITs, IISc, IISERs and other reputed institutions.
Gate 2022 Exam Date
GATE 2023 registration starts on 1st September 2022 and the enrolling lines will be active till 5th October 2020. All successfully enrolled candidates will be able to take the GATE 2023 written examination scheduled to be conducted in Feb 2020, in 23 Subjects or papers. The 23 papers under GATE 2023 will be on the basis of an Online Computer-based test(CBT) Only no offline test will be held.
The exam date of Gate 2022 is released now. The application form for the gate exam will start from 1st September 2022.

Gate 2022 Registration Fee
GATE 2023 Application form fees are the cost received by the exam conducting authorities to conduct the National level of examination on such a large scale by alumni. The GATE 2023 Application Fees has been set differently for different category and gender of candidates as per a little relaxation in fees for unreserved and females is applicable here as well.
- Application fee for female candidates and SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs. 750/-
- For all other category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 1500/-
- US $ 50 is applicable as registration fees for International students.
- Mode of GATE 2023 Application form fees is online and can be submitted through Net banking, debit card and e- challan.
