Candidates, there is a certain test which you all have to g through and pass to become holders of different jobs offered by Indian Army, they are precisely categories, with the motive of judging the mental as well as physical fitness of an individual, these tests are:-

2. Medical Test –  Primary medical examination will be carried out at Rally Site with effect from 20 August 2022.

Important Official Note:-

At the time of submitting Online Applications, candidates have to provide their 10th, 12th and Collage marksheets attached with their passport size photographs, attested by a Government gazetted officer, this attested photograph with application forms is mandatory for almost all posts applications.

Candidates need not to submit their Original Documents at the time of application form submission, rather they have to bring  their original documents at the time of SSB interview for verification and the same will be returned back to candidates after verification at respective selection Centresonce SSB Interviews are over.

Indian Army posts Selection Process, Qualification, Pay Scale, Age limit

Educational Qualification: Candidates have to pass matriculate with a passing certificate, or if he/she has any higher qualifying degree such as in the final year, he shall make sure to provide degree within the date of exam to be held, as in general 10th pass and 12th pass candidates are eligible to apply for the posts offered.

Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid with a juicy salary package of Rs/- 21,000 with Grade Pay 5,400, this amount is payable only during training, after the training period they will be allocated with salary as per their ranks/trades allotted.

National Defense Academy(NDA) Recruitment Drive 2020

Official Notification: On the official website of UPSE, and on leading newspapers, UPSC has notified about the employment news in the month of May/June and Nov/Dec.

Application form: Candidates can submit their Application forms available now on the official website of UPSC.

Written Exam: conducted by the UPSC twice every year in the month April for Jan Course and August for Jul Course.

Results of Written exam declared by UPSC in the months of Jul and Oct for Jan and Jul Courses.

SSB Interview: SSB interviews conducted during the months of Sep to Oct for Jan Course and Jan to Apr for Jul Course.

Age/आयु

 Age of all trade/posts opened up by the army like Soldier Clerk, Soldier Clerk Store keeper, Soldier Nursing assistant, and Soldier Tradesman category trades, the age should be in between 17th and a half to 21 years old.

Age of Havildar Education : 20 to 15 Years.

Age of Survey automated Cartographer : 20 to 25 years

Age of Recruitment in TA : 18 to 42 years.

Height/ऊंचाई

Height is a parameter which is always measured and holds its importance when it comes to selection in Indian Army, we prefer tall men with broad shoulders( not necessarily though), so as per the rules of Army the minimum height of a Soldier GD, Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical Assistance, JCO catering should be 170 centimeters or 1.70 meters or 5 feet 6.6 inches.

The height of Soldier Clerk should be 5 feet 4 inches.

The height of Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher should be 5 feet 3.3 inches.

Weight/वजन

For every trade or post, the weight shall be about 50kg.

CHEST/छाती

The chest should be minimal 77 to 82 cms.
