Under KVPY i.e. Kishor Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, students are given fellowship by the government in the field of science. Let the candidates know that for the session 2021, the application process has been started by issuing notification on behalf of KVPY. Students could fill the online application form from 12 July 2021 to 25 August 2021 which has now been extended till 06 September 2021. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana/KVPY Application Form 2021
Along with applying under the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, the student must fill the application fee prescribed by KVPY 2021, without the application fee, the application form will not be considered complete and such applications will be canceled. Key Points to Apply for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana/KVPY 2021
- To apply in KVPY 2019, students have to first go to the official website of KVPY http://www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in which will open the home page of the website.
- On the home page students will see the above applications link which they have to click on. Which will open a new page.
- On that page, students will see the link of Application 2021, on which students can go through the registration process and fill the application form.
- After filling the application form, students will pay the prescribed application fee. After which print a copy of the completed application form and keep it safe.

Qualification & Criteria
There are three streams prescribed for different courses to apply in KVPY 2021. These three streams SA, SX and SB. KVPY has prescribed different eligibility for all streams whose complete details are given below-
SA Stream (for class 11 students):
- To apply in SA stream, students must have taken admission in the session 2021-21 with science subjects.
- The student must have passed the High School Examination with Mathematics and Science subjects with 75% marks. SC and ST candidates have passed the exam with 65% marks.
- The fellowship will be awarded to the candidates after qualifying the KVPY 2021 examination only if they have passed the 12th examination with Science subjects with 60% marks. SC and ST candidates will be given 5% relaxation in marks. Along with this, he must have taken admission in the undergraduate course with science subjects.
SB Stream (For B.Sc 1st Year Students):
- To apply in SB stream, students must have passed 12th examination with science subjects in the session 2020-21 with 60% marks. SC and ST category students have passed this exam with 50% marks.
- The student has completed B.Sc., BS, B.Stat., B.Math., Int. in any recognized University or Institute of India. M.Sc, Int. Have taken admission in MS courses.
- After qualifying the KVPY 2021 exam, the fellowship will be awarded to the candidates only if they have passed the graduation exam with science subjects with 60% marks. SC and ST candidates have passed the exam with 50% marks.
SX Stream (for 12th class students):
- To apply in SX stream, students must have taken admission in 12th class with science subjects in the session 2021-22.
- Students have passed high school examination with Mathematics and Science subjects with 75% marks. SC and ST category students have passed the exam with 65% marks.
- The student has completed B.Sc., BS, B.Stat., B.Math., Int. in any recognized University or Institute of India. M.Sc, Int. Have taken admission in MS courses.
- After qualifying the KVPY 2021 exam, the fellowship will be awarded to the candidates only if they have passed the graduation exam with science subjects with 60% marks. SC and ST candidates have passed the exam with 50% marks.
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana/KVPY 2021 Admit Card
After the completion of the KVPY 2021 application process, the admit cards of the students will be issued. Admit cards can be issued in the last week of October or first week of November. The admit card will be issued through online mode on the official website of KVPY http://www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in from where students will be able to download their admit card. Students should keep in mind that when they go to the examination center to take the examination, they should carry their admit card with them, without the admit card students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
