After Lieutenant Commander, next rank in Indian Navy is Commander. As per four pay band of 7th pay commision, Salary of Navy Commander is 37400-67000 rupees. This one is huge money and more than Lieutenant Commander. Grade pay for Navy Commander is 8000 per month.
After Commander, next rank in Indian Navy is Captain. Navy Commanders are promoted on the post of Captain. As per four pay band of 7th pay commision, Salary of Navy Captain is 37400-67000 rupees which are same salary of Lieutenant Commander. But Grade pay for Navy Captain is 8700 per month which is quite more than commander post.
After Navy Caption, next rank in Indian Navy is Commodore. Navy Captions are promoted on the post of Commodore. As per four pay band of 7th pay commision, Salary of Navy Commodore is 37400-67000 rupees which are the same salary of Indian Navy Caption Salary. But Grade pay for Navy Commodore is 8900 per month which is quite more than Nausaina Caption post.
After Commodore, next rank in Indian Navy is Rear Admiral. Navy Commodore is promoted on the post of Rear Admiral. As per four pay band of 7th pay commission, Salary of Navy Rear Admiral is 37400-67000 rupees which are the same salary of Commodore. But Grade pay for Navy Rear Admiral is 10,000 per month which is quite more than Commodore post.
After Rear Admiral, next rank in Indian Navy is Vice Admiral. Navy Rear Admiral are promoted on the post of Vice Admiral. As per four pay band of 7th pay commision, Salary of Navy Captain is 67000 – 79000 rupees which is the same salary of huge and much more thaRear Admiral. But Grade pay for Navy Vice Admiral is zero.

Indian Navy Sailors Salary
At the time of Navy training, all candidates get a stipend of INR 5700 per month. After training aspirant gets the Grade Pay, Military Service, Group ‘X’ pay and Dearness Allowance.
