All those students can participate in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana / KVPY 2022, who have taken admission for undergraduate courses in basic science subjects from any university / college recognized by the Government of India. KVPY has released the dates for 2022 exam, students can check the important dates from the table given below.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2022 Eligibility and Criteria

There are three streams prescribed for different courses to apply in KVPY 2022. These three streams SA, SX and SB. KVPY has prescribed different eligibility for all streams whose complete details are given below-

SA Stream (for class 11 students):

• To apply in SA stream, students must have taken admission in the session 2022-22 with science subjects.
• The student must have passed the High School Examination with Mathematics and Science subjects with 75% marks. SC and ST candidates have passed the exam with 65% marks.
• After qualifying the KVPY 2022 examination, the fellowship will be awarded to the candidates only if they have passed the 12th examination with Science subjects with 60% marks. SC and ST candidates will be given 5% relaxation in marks. Along with this, he must have taken admission in the undergraduate course with science subjects.

SB Stream (For B.Sc 1st Year Students):

• To apply in SB stream, students must have passed 12th examination with science subjects in the session 2022-22 with 60% marks. SC and ST category students have passed this exam with 50% marks.
• The student has completed B.Sc., BS, B.Stat., B.Math., Int. in any recognized University or Institute of India. M.Sc, Int. Have taken admission in MS courses.
• After qualifying the KVPY 2022 exam, the fellowship will be awarded to the candidates only if they have passed the graduation exam with science subjects with 60% marks. SC and ST candidates have passed the exam with 50% marks.

SX Stream (for 12th class students):

• To apply in SX stream, students must have taken admission in 12th class with science subjects in the session 2022-22.
• Students have passed high school examination with Mathematics and Science subjects with 75% marks. SC and ST category students have passed the exam with 65% marks.
• The student has completed B.Sc., BS, B.Stat., B.Math., Int. in any recognized University or Institute of India. M.Sc, Int. Have taken admission in MS courses.
• After qualifying the KVPY 2022 exam, the fellowship will be awarded to the candidates only if they have passed the graduation exam with science subjects with 60% marks. SC and ST candidates have passed the exam with 50% marks.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2022 Application Form

To appear in the KVPY 2020 exam, students have to first participate in the online application process. The application process has started from 12th July 2022. The last date for application was fixed as 25 August 2022, which has now been extended till 06 September 2022. Students can fill the online application form within the given dates. Students can complete the application process by visiting the official website of KVPY http://www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. Along with filling the application form, the student must pay the application fee as prescribed by KVPY, applications submitted without application fee will not be valid and such applications will be rejected. Students can submit the application fee through online mode.

Application Fee:

• Application Fee for General Category: Rs.1250.
• Application fee for SC, ST and Divyang category: Rs.625.

A few days before the KVPY 2022 exam, the admit cards of the students will be issued. admit card Can be issued in the last week of October 2022 or first week of November 2022. Admit cards will be issued on the official website of KVPY http://www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in from where students will be able to download the admit card. Apart from this, you will also be able to download the admit card from the link provided on this page. When students go to the examination center, carry the admit card with you, without the admit card you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2022 Selection Process

To participate in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana/KVPY 2022, students have to first participate in the online application process. After the completion of the application process, the admit card of the students will be issued and their examination will be conducted. The results of the students will be released after the completion of the examination. The students who will qualify the result will be called for interview. After this, the students who will get success in the interview will be awarded fellowship.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2022 Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern for SA Stream : Candidates will be given 3 hours for the exam in SA Stream. The students will be asked 80 multiple choice questions. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Questions will be asked from different subjects, the information of which you can get from the table below.

Exam Pattern for SB, SX Stream : Candidates will be given 3 hours for the exam in SA Stream. The students will be asked 120 multiple choice questions. 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Questions will be asked from different subjects, information of which you can get from the table below.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2022 Result

After the KVPY 2022 exam is conducted, now the KVPY 2022 result of the students will be declared. The results of the students will be released through online mode on the official website of KVPY http://www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in from where you will be able to check your result. Document verification process will be conducted for the successful students in the examination. Those students who will be successful in this will be given a grant.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2022 Cutoff

Please inform the candidates that KVPY will determine the cutoff for Aptitude Test and Interview separately. Candidates will have to achieve different cutoff in both the process only then they will be able to get the grant. Cutoff marks will be released at the end of written test and interview process.
